FAQ

Spaceslop - Mono Productions LLC

What is Spaceslop?

Spaceslop is an asymmetric co-op spaceship runner. One player pilots the shared screen. Everyone else jumps in on their phones as crew: locking weapon arcs, feeding power, raising shields, and firing missiles.

How do you play?

The host flies the ship on desktop, TV, or Steam Deck. Friends join as crew on phones and control weapons, power, shields, and missiles in real time. Survive sectors, upgrade the armory, and push through carriers and bosses.

Can I play solo?

Yes. Empty seats fill with an AI pilot or bot gunners, so you can run a session without a full crew.

Is the game free on this website?

No. spaceslop.com is the official site for news, legal pages, and store links. The playable game is not hosted here. Buy it on a store when it launches, then crew up on phones.

Where can I buy it?

Windows closed beta is underway on the Epic Games Store. A public Epic listing and Steam (including Steam Deck) will be linked here when they go live. There is no public purchase page yet.

What platforms are supported?

The host plays on desktop (Windows now, Steam and Steam Deck next). Crew join on phones or in a browser. Cross-play between the desktop host and phone crew is built in.

Do I need more than one device?

For co-op, yes: one screen for the pilot, and a phone for each crew member. For solo, one desktop is enough.

How do friends join a session?

The host starts a room. Crew enter the room code on their phones. If someone drops, they can reconnect with the same code.

What age rating is it?

Spaceslop is rated for a general audience (IARC Everyone / PEGI 3). Combat is colorful arcade action, not realistic violence.
